Interoperability at NAiSE Intralogistics Wasen
The future of intralogistics depends on systems that work together, and that vision took center stage when Capra Robotics joined industry leaders at NAiSE Intralogistics Wasen in Stuttgart. The event gathered robotics manufacturers, fleet software providers, and automation experts to explore how open standards and cross-vendor collaboration can accelerate real-world deployments in factories and logistics hubs.
Interoperability in Action
Our CEO, Niels Jul Jacobsen, contributed to a panel focused on the newest developments in VDA5050 3.0, followed by a keynote titled “Are we there yet? – experience and hope from 10 years of interoperability with mobile robots.” With more than a decade of experience pushing interoperability standards, Niels shared practical lessons from the field and insights on where the industry is heading next.
A highlight of the event was a live integration demo, where a Capra Carrier operated on the NAiSE Fleet Manager in a mixed-vendor environment. This demonstration proved that AMR interoperability is not a future promise, it is happening today, enabling customers to choose the robots and fleet systems that best fit their needs.
Scale up with Capra Robotics
As automation expands across logistics, manufacturing, and industrial facilities, flexibility has become essential. Companies need autonomous mobile robots that can integrate seamlessly into existing ecosystems and scale as operations grow. Capra Robotics’ VDA5050-compliant platform supports this approach by enabling smooth coordination with third-party fleet managers and multi-robot environments.
A special thank-you to NAiSE for hosting an inspiring event and advancing the conversation around open automation ecosystems. We look forward to continuing to build an industry where interoperability, openness, and customer choice drive progress.
